While waiting for the big boat to be ready, the CHCH based crew took Delight out for a twirl. It had been some months since she had been out the crew busy running shop and doing sorties to Northland to fix the big boat.
She fired up first pop, all batteries fully charged, all systems go, just needs an antifoul and installation of the new autopilot and life raft.
Over the coming months Delight will be the focus of some upgrades and the intention is that she sail to Samoa in 2023 alongside The Never Ending Story!
